Policy Statement
North Kent Tours will:

  1. Comply with all relevant health and safety laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  2. Identify and assess potential health and safety risks associated with our operations.
  3. Implement controls to mitigate these risks and prevent accidents.
  4. Provide training and resources to employees to ensure they are equipped to work safely.

  7. Continuously monitor and review our health and safety performance to identify areas for

    Responsibilities:
  8. Managing Director: Overall responsibility for health and safety within the organization.
  9. Tour Guides: Responsible for ensuring the safety of customers during tours.
  10. Employees: Responsible for reporting hazards, incidents, and near misses, and for following
    established health and safety procedures.
  11. Customers: Responsible for following instructions and guidance provided by tour guides and for
    reporting any concerns or hazards.
    Health and Safety Procedures:
  12. Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement
    controls.
  13. Emergency Procedures: Establish emergency procedures for incidents such as accidents, illnesses,
    and natural disasters.
  14. First Aid: Provide first aid kits and training for employees.
  15. Accident Reporting: Establish a system for reporting incidents and near misses.
  16. Training: Provide regular training for employees on health and safety procedures and protocols.
    Review and Revision:
    This policy will be reviewed and revised annually, or as necessary, to ensure it remains effective and
    compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
